专家简介： Professor James Blande is currently the head of the Environmental Ecology Research Group at the University of Eastern Finland. He has published nearly 100 papers in SCI journals, with a total of about 5000 citations and an H-index of 41. His group's most recent published research was in Science. He has been a co-chief editor of a book entitled, ‘Deciphering the Chemical Language of Plant Communication’ and has been a guest editor and associate editor for Frontiers in Forests and Global Change and is a review editor for Frontiers in Ecology and Evolution. He has been the holder of a prestigious Academy (of Finland) Research Fellowship and led several projects funded by Finnish and European funding agencies. Currently, he is an external board member for the Max Planck Next Generation Insect Chemical Ecology Centre. He has reviewed for numerous top-level journals, including Nature Communications, PNAS, Ecology Letters and Global Change Biology.

专家简介：Dr. Oksana Skaldina is currently working as a project researcher in the Environmental Ecology Research Group (ERG). Her work is focused on developing Nature-Based Solutions (NBs) for urban and agricultural ecosystems regarding improving biodiversity and sustainability of plant-pollinator interactions. She is the author of 16 peer-reviewed papers and book chapters published in SCI journals and a guest editor of the special issue of the journal Atmosphere. Her research has been supported by several prestigious Finnish fellowships including Jenny and Antti Wihuri and Maj and Tor Nessling Fellowships. Her work has a practical orientation resulting in successful collaboration with business partners such as Kinosura OY, Reactor Oy, and Lykkan. She is reviewing papers for leading international scientific journals such as Environmental Pollution, Science of the Total Environment, Ecology and Evolution, Ethology, Ecology and Evolution and the others.

专家简介：Dr. Tihomir Simin was born in Novi Sad, Serbia in 1992. From 1993 until 2002 he lives in Poland with his parents and two brothers. He finished his primary and secondary education in Novi Sad, Serbia. He graduated from the University of Novi Sad with a Bachelor and Master’s degree in Ecology. During his studies, he went on a student exchange program to the University of Eastern Finland in Joensuu and Kuopio, where he did his Master’s experimental work in 2016. He got his PhD degree in Biology from the University of Copenhagen in Denmark in 2022. Now, he is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Eastern Finland in Kuopio. He is an author of five papers in high-impact journals, including STOTEN and PNAS. His research focuses on photosynthesis, VOC emissions and plant-plant interactions and their relationship to the environment.
